Hello, to the few people that look at my blog! As you all have realized, I'm pretty horrible about keeping up with my posts. But! Oh my gosh! Could it be? Sammy Jo is doing another post within 3 months? No wayyyy! So yeah. This post is going to be about Blue jeans. No actually, it'll be about Painting your toenails. No. I always post girly stuff. I'm not always such a girly girl. I four wheel! I dirt bike! I jetski! I fish and play soccer and occasionally spit on the ground! Anyways, I'll tell you about fourwheeling. It's so fun! My friend and I drive the fourwheeler around her relatives's woods and jump jumps and miss trees by inches! My friend had this awesome jump in her yard and I was really getting some air until her mom said it was too dangerous. Oh well. When I go through mud puddles and get the fourwheeler dirty, my daddy makes me clean it. But it's a small price to pay for the fun I get out of it. If you don't have a fourwheeler, you should get one. They're worth it. Same with a dirtbike. My dad got me my first dirt bike when I was two. Of course I didn't drive it until I was like 5 or 6. Now I have a 100 dirtbike and my dad has a 250. That means it's really loud and really big. Everyone in the nieghborhood can hear that thing when he starts it up!
When I was first learning how to drive my dirtbike, I drove straight into the trash heap in the marsh. Not pretty. I've skinned my knees and hurt myself and all that but it's all part of learning. If you don't get it the first time, don't give up. You'll get it. You know what they say; Practice makes perfect right?
I guess this post turned out to be all right. It kinda started off as a disaster.
See ya.

5 Super Cute Hair Styles

As you all know, school is starting. Even though that's a bad thing, we could make it a little better by going to school with a fresh look. These styles might just do the job for you...

#1: THE SIDE BRAID AND PONY TAIL. The name speaks for itself. All you do is braid your bangs or the hair to the front of your head and clip it so the side so it stays. Then you put the rest of your hair in a loose side pony tail. This works for long, and medium length hair, although if you have short hair, you could always do a side french braid with no pony tail.

#2: THE TWIST. This one is really simple. You first make a pony tail. Then you make a space in your hair right above the hair tie. Then you loop your hair through the hole and pull.
#3: THE ELEGANT CURL. Curls are coming back in style. The BEST curling iron (in my opinion) is the spiral curling iron. It gives you pretty little wringlets, that you can brush out, then hair spray.
#4: PIGTAILS. This isn't like kindergarden piggy tails where they're like at the sides of your head way above your ears. These are low pig tails. Also you want maybe some bangs down if you have bangs. This style looks best with straight hair.
#5: THE TRIPLE CLIP. This one is really easy. It would look really good with either curled hair or straightened hair. You start at the top of your head and pull two strands or hair back. Then you go down a little bit and putt two more strands back. Then you go down one more time and do the same. You could do as many clips as you want, but I prefer three.

13

I hear 13 is a very unlucky number. Hopefully it won't be for me, because... I'm turning 13 in seventeen days! The rest of my classmates are turning 14, so I'm young for my grade. I used to hate that. But now I think, hey! Guess what? When you're 40, I'll still be 39! So ha! What's it like to be 13? Is it any differant from twelve? I decided to interview some people and here are the answers I got:
It's the same as twelve.
You'll then be a teenager.
Then you'll be a young adult.
You'll be more mature.

I guess I'll have to wait and find out. But wow. A teenager? When I was little, it seemed like teen years were decades away! But I made it. 13.

Wish me good luck!

The Stinky Yucky Evil Jellyfish

Have you ever gotten stung by a jellyfish? Some people that live in the middle of the country probably haven't. But, let me tell you, it isn't pleasant. I just got stung yesterday, while swimming off my dock. My brother dodged the little devil but it got my arm. So, it makes me wonder. How do jellyfish really sting you? So I learned that a bunch of little dart things jump out at you whenever something brushes against a tentacle. That's why my mom makes me scrub my arm with a seashell. To get the dart things out. Then my mom put vinegar on it and then this stuff called Afterbite. The Afterbite actually worked, but I have no idea what good the vinegar does. (Other than making my arm smell like a pickle.)

In Australia, the Jellyfish are vicious. Those Jellies can kill people. Like the box jellyfish. And the Portuguese Man Of War. The Portuguese Man of War is super long. And you can spot it by its blue bubble thing that stinks out of the water.

A Jellyfish once cut my Grandpa open. It wrapped around his leg, and not only stung it, but also made little cuts along his leg as well. If that had been me I would have forced my dad to run over it with his boat.

But, for as much as I hate Jellies, they do serve a purpose. They actually make the water clearer, and less mercy.

Moab Was Great!

Moab was awesome!! We went off roading in rented jeeps, and road up some gnarly, rocky hills. (Where is my dirt bike when I need it?!) We also went mountain biking on two differant days. The first day was really extreme, but fun. We went biking on a trail called the Intrepid Trail in Dead horse Point. The second day was ten miles downhill; I had a blast!
I saw my cousins, who came up from Tuscon. While we were off-roading and climbing rocks with our jeeps, the girls and I screamed all the way.

My dad driving on a trail actually called Hell's Revenge :p
There were ups and a couple downs (e.g. me passing out in a walmart in Texas) but, all in all, I had a great time. :)

Moab, Utah and Painful Car Rides

Greetings, from New Mexico! I would tell you about the beautiful scenery and cacti, but guess what? It's a bit after midnight, and I'm in the car. So I haven't seen a thing in New Mexico except for the road, a few tractor trailors, some grass, and vaguely the horizon line. I hear New Mexico has a lot of cultural diversity, and has a rich personality. And you know, I would love to go on about New Mexico, but guess what? My destination is Moab, Utah, the 2nd best place in the world. (Next to my home!)
Moab is amazing! It's like a outdoors Shangri-la. You can hike like mad, you can rent a hummer and go off roading, you could go mountain biking, or even white water rafting. There's also this one restraunt my family and I love called The Moab Diner.

You know, getting to Moab by car is hard on a kid like me or my brother. That's why we have to think of fun activities to do. Here's a list:
~play would you rather
~watch movies
~trivia
~20 questions
~draw, color, read
~text people
~take pictures of yourself wearing sunglasses (not that i do that)
~constantly check where you are with Google Earth
~draw the flags of all the states you've been through
~crossword puzzles
~word searches
~pick at your sibling(s)

Car rides can be painful.

I've set up a poll for you. Vote if you care about the children of painful car rides.
Thank you

An EXTREMELY Easy Way of Making Lip Gloss

I found this amazing way of making your own lip gloss, and I thought I'd share it with you. (Plus my cousin requested it! :))
It's really easy, and the results are really cool.

What you need:
•Vaseline
•Lip Gloss Containers (I used a tupperware container)
•A microwave safe dish
•A microwave and spoon
•A colorant: Tiny shreds of lipstick or koolaid
•Sparkles and/or Glitter (optional)
•Flavoring: honey and/or vanilla, mint or almond extract

Making the Gloss:
1: With the vaseline being your base, add it to the microwavable container and if your using lipstick shreds, add those too. Then microwave it for 30 seconds to a minute.
2: Once the microwave is done, add flavor, glitter, and koolaid (if you didn't already use lipstick)
3: Mix vigorously
4: Refridgerate for one to two hours, then use for yourself, or give as a gift. :)

This recipe works great! I love it! If you do too, please comment!!! :)
